On the first Sunday of each month, Unity in Edinboro gather during Sunday Enrichment (formally knows as a service) and Teas and Treats to discuss the meaning of a passage. Jenn Shepherd will introduce some ideas, and everyone is welcome to share their thoughts.
Metaphysical Interpretation involves understanding that texts have different meanings for each individual based on their personal experiences.
This month, we will explore Psalm 82:3, Isaiah 1:17, Luke 4:18-19, and quotes from Frederick Douglass, Ida B. Wells, Rosa Parks, and Fannie Lou Hamer. Sunday Enrichment is available online via RSVP, and all in person attendees are welcome to join further discussion at Teas and Treats.
